Having a backyard can be rewarding with a lot of space to work with but it also can be a tough job as the more nice your backyard is the better you need to maintain it to keep it looking nice all through the year. There are many things to look in to, such as the outdoor furniture, grass, plants and shrubs, etc. Here are some basic ways to maintain your back yard.
You can start with your flowerbed if you have one. Remove the leaves, sticks and weeds from the flower bed. Add some more fertile soil if you think is necessary. Look at the shrubs and trees. If they are over grown and out of shape trim them. Trim out the broken branches and also the dead ones from the shrubs and trees. Be careful when you handle big branches as they can seriously harm you. Get a bag to put all the debris in.
The grass in your yard will need to be trimmed. Start mowing the lawn. Once you have you can start sweeping the garden where there might be leaves and twigs all over. If you have a recycling bin where you can make fertilize, drop the degradable in to it. You can use it when you are working on the flowerbed again.
If you have pool – you will need to clean it. There will be some leaves fallen in it as always. Buy pool covers to keep your pool from getting dirty.
Do not forget to call on pool maintenance in Melbourne at least once a month to keep your pool working properly. Having your pool in top shape will always have not grumbling over the fact that you can’t have a swim whenever you want to.
When it comes to watering the plants make sure you do it every morning or at least by evening. The time you water helps because when the weather is cold the evaporation is less which is good for the plants. Plants are made up of 90% water so keeping them well hydrated is important.
Once you have looked in to most of the detail go around and have one last look if you have missed any spots. For example the grass – you may check if you have trimmed them all alright properly and there are no weird spots with tall grass. Another example would be to check for weeds on your flower beds they can be hiding anywhere. Well, do the final checkup and you are done. A small clean up with bags of dirt and leaves is all that is left.
